Audi has already reacted by announcing that the brand is expected to pay "penalties".



Dieselgate, Act III. After the revelation of the case last September and validation, there is not that long of models recall plan of the Volkswagen group equipped with the four-cylinder diesel, he remained to the German giant to offer a valid solution for V6 TDI, also involved in the case, although Volkswagen had initially denied any problem with that big block.


Concerned by the dieselgate, the V6 TDI was previously suspected to have the same software bypass probate cycles than the smaller four-cylinder engine but it was advertised as less polluting by the group Volkswagen. 




 A rebound, however, could complicate the affairs of the galaxy "VW" since the German weekly Bild am Sonntag announced that the US authorities have found not one but three unauthorized software on diesel V6.


In total, some 85 000 models that are affected by this issue of the case-fixing engines, distributed betweenAudi , Porsche and Volkswagen. 


Audi expects, according to Bild am Sonntag, to pay penalties following a hearing scheduled for August 10th. It remains to be seen what the amount of these penalties and if the Volkswagen group will quickly find an upgrading plan for the V6 to get out, once and for all, the American galley.
