Top Gear’s Season 14 Episode 7 is now available. On this episode: We have 3 superb cars on the test - the Lexus LFA supercar, the Mercedes SLS AMG and Vauxhall VXR Insignia.
Now, what we know about the LFA from Lexus: We know that will cost about 350.000 US Dollars, will be powered by a V10 4.8 Liter engine and will go on sale somewhere in 2012.
Only 500 total LFA models will be made worldwide, with only 20 produced each month. Each LFA will be hand-built by a dedicated production team of engineers and specialists at Toyota’s Motomatchi plant in Aichi, Japan.
The Lexus LFA is powered by a 72° 4.8-liter V10 engine equipped with dual VVT-i carrying the 1LR-GUE designation with a maximum output of 552 bhp (412 kW) delivered at 8,700 rpm.
