Bentley presented first pictures and details about the new Continental GTC, which will be introduced at New York Motor Show in April.
GTC completes the Continental range which is currently formed by GT and Flying Spur models. GTC has an electro-hydraulic operated soft top which can elegantly hide in the back leaving though a 235 liters space luggage.
The new cabriolet from Bentley offers four places and its interior may be finished with different natural wood and leather. The engine is the same six liters V12, twin-turbocharged which delivers 552 HP and a maximum torque of 650 Nm at just 1.600 rpm. Continental GTC accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5,1 seconds and the top speed is registered at 312 km/h (306 km/h with the top down, for those who dare).
As in the coupe, the engine power is transmitted to all four wheels via an automatic six-speed gearbox. The air suspension has four settings and the brake system is identical with the one fitted in the GT version (the front ventilated discs have 405 mm diameter).
The sales of the new GTC will begin at the end of the year.
