The MVT GearBox is a new and revolutionary type of transmission, without any gears at all.
The GearBox is composed from an electromagnetic ratio variator, controlled by a CPU. The Variator can convert infinite ratios, for any speed and acceleration.
Unlike CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), the MVT (Multi-Purpose Variable Transmission) can take any amount of power and torque, weight and acceleration, and can be mounted on everything! (from washing machine to petrol ships, not only on cars, trucks etc..) Imagine the impact of MVT transmission on the market, if mounted on trucks, the transports costs will be decreased, because of the fuel economy. But the delivery time may increase, not because of the exces speed, but from faster acceleration in corners, better stability, and the amazing power of braking, through the MVT features. If mounted on home machines, the energy consumption will decrease. If mounted on cars, the price you pay for almost twice the performances is the same, and the price you pay for fuel is almost half.
The Turbo MVT version of the GearBox it's even more acurate, and comes with even more features, and also excludes more useles systems, and maintenance devices. The fuel consumption reduction, is possible because of the low revolutions of the engine. In fact from a 1.9 TDI engine, the MVT can reach 100 Km/h with only 2000 RPM, and can maintain that speed with 1000 RPM.
The Sport mode, and the amazing acceeleration and output power, is possible because the engine is holded at redline, and the GearBox, convert's the ratios, from zero to top speed. In launch control, the engine is used at his max revolutions until the car reaches the top speed.
The most important feature is the engine brake, with as many levels of pressure as the service brake. This is possible because of the MVT GearBox inside controller. The controller is an up-down device, witch converts the ratios manualy. The inside controller can be set also to auto mode, sport or launch control.
Optionaly the MVT comes with information display, that shows the engine RPM, fuel consumption, driving mode, preseted gears, optimal variation, and even more features.
Power and Torque increase. Mvt stands for the best performance on the market.
The electromagnetic variator, through the central unit, converts the first ratio ( Gear 1) even bigger than to a normal gearbox. In translate, the car will launch with the "0.5" gear, and within a fraction of a second the variator changes the ratios, meanwhile the engine is continuously at redline. The result is the fastest acceleration possible, from zero to top, with max RPM, so with max power and torque.
Fuel Economy . Just like in the Sport, Racing or Launch mode, The economy mode works in the same way. Only this time the engine will not pass 2200 RPM, and is capable to maintain any speed from 0-130Km/H with 1000-1500 RPM on a 1.9 TDI engine. The acceleration in the economy mode, is a little slow, but is still normal. Just like in the preset for trip cruise.
Oil problem solved
The MVT Gearbox, doesn't need any maintenance system and excludes completely the oil pumps, and any maintenance device. You may think this will cause Durability and Reliability problems, but the MVT doesn't need any of those systems.
Durability and Reliability. The MVT GearBox is composed only from precise hard metals, that will stand many years without any revisions or maintenance, and it doesn't contains any rubber belt or variable pulleys like CVT GearBox.
Launch control from any speed or gear preset. The launch control is not available only on 0 km/h. You can set and launch the car from any speed, no matter the gear or driving mode. Normally when the Launch control is activated you have to press the brake and in the same time to accelerate the engine to max RPM.
In a driving launch, from any speed, you'll not press the brake, only the gas pedal, and when the engine reaches the max RPM, MVT launch the car automatically.
Amazing features. The most important feature of the MVT GearBox is the engine brake. Normally in engine brake the device that cause braking is the engine, but in this case the engine isn't touched. The GearBox have a revolutionary system, that recieve mechanical power from the engine, but the process is not reversible. So if we could mount one engine in the place of one wheel, the engine will not spin.
The device that cause the braking is the GearBox itself, and have as many levels of pressure like the service (pedal) brake. Imagine a fully loaded truck, in front of a curve braking with the MVT Gearbox and service brake in the same time. And because at trucks the transmission will be AWD, think about stability in the curves.
The MVT central unit also lights the brake lights when a overnormal brake is detected without the service brake.
