Microsoft vs TomTom

Software company Microsoft has indicted and TomTom, the import of navigation systems in the U.S. stop. Bloomberg news reported that late Wednesday.
Multiple charges against TomTom would be made after the two companies could not reach an agreement on a deal to license patents.

Microsoft, according to the press a complaint filed with the International Trade Commission in the U.S. and a civil case to court in Seattle.

The Software claims that TomTom infringed five patents in the field of navigation and on three patents that cover the storage of information.

It is the second time in seven months that Microsoft is a trade complaint against a party in order to resolve a patent dispute. Previously, a case with a Taiwanese company already suitable.

According to the company lawyer, the software company over a year trying to negotiate a licensing deal. The Software would still be open to an acceptable solution.

TomTom was last night unavailable for comment late.
